He’s Here!

Our new exchange student, T, flew to America yesterday. He’s at a language and culture camp until next Saturday when he will arrive in Ann Arbor to start his year. In true Kozar fashion, we have the busiest day of the summer that day between fundraising, picking him up and a huge political fundraiser in the evening. Welcome to the family!

Unlike last year, when we started emailing with our exchange student in February, we haven’t had much contact. Kind of makes it exciting. Also a little scary. But from the little communication we’ve done so far we can tell he’ll be a great fit with us.

Let the adventure begin!

    • 🙂 nice to meet you! I was just about to write on your blog, too. This is our second time hosting a Dutch student (our last one went home about six weeks ago). I’m looking forward to reading your blog and learning about your experience!

      • Hi NK, nice to meet you too! What a coincidence you guys are hosting a Dutch student, for the second time even 🙂 I’m very curious about whatever you’ll be sharing about maybe typical Dutch-American differences and similarities, stuff like that. But especially about how you experience this adventure as a host family 🙂

      • We love it! I’ll be posting some stuff about our first experience along with chronicling T’s year with us and hope you’ll keep reading. I can’t wait to read about your first experience – it is AMAZING!
